Get rid of disturbing skin growths!
Warts (verrucae) arise as the result of infection, most often with human papillomavirus. Fleshy warts or fibromas on the other hand are benign tumours of the connective tissue. These are not hurtful, but often appear on exposed body parts such as face or neck where, apart from the cosmetic disturbance, they can interfere with shaving or wearing jewellery. In body parts with high transpiration like the armpit and groin, but also the genital area, they can in rare cases even become inflamed.
Age related warts (seborrheic keratosis or basal cell papillomas) are harmless age-related skin growths. They form as wartlike round-oval skin nodes. These often appear in larger numbers and can be experienced as aesthetically disturbing.
